Graphic Design Coursework: 2016 - 2019
A collection of coursework and projects from my time as an Arts Administration/Digital Communications student at Simmons University.
For this project, I was tasked with creating stamps that replicated the style of an artist or designer I was interested in. I chose Shepard Fairey. I decided to recreate the style of the Obama HOPE poster using notable artists and activists of color. Using adobe programs, I hand painted each portrait and added information necessary by US stamp regulations.

For this project, we were tasked with finding a word and illustrating it through the placement of letter forms. I chose throw.
In this project, we were tasked with recreating a Hockney style photo collage. I chose to place my subject in the library to use the many colors and sizes of the book spines to create visual interest, as well as the ability to manipulate the physical space through enlarging and shrinking elements. All images were shot by me on a Nikon D3200.
For this project, I was tasked to create a poster for a PSA using a word from a list selected by my professor. I chose consume and decided to highlight the consumerist culture of online shopping. Using imagery from the Amazon logo and using a muted/ominous color palette.
For this project, I was tasked with researching a non-profit to design and create print materials for a rebrand of the organization. I chose The Wild Animal Sanctuary based out of Keene Colorado. The organization rehabilitates wildlife found/adopted in captivity. I decided to use imagery of which some of these wild creatures are originally from and combine it with the name of the organization, in a new typeface edited to fit the shape via Adobe Illustrator.
This is a part of the rebrand project, I created the logotype and designed a business card for the executive director.
For this project, I was tasked with selecting and researching a typeface and creating a poster the represented that typeface. I chose Zag, a typeface created by Svet Simov and his wife. The typeface is inspired by geometric and monospace typefaces like Futura.
